May, 2011
Client: The PyeongChang Organizing Committee for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games
Participation Role: Contents Planning / UI Design / Installation
This project was a technical briefing exhibition project held in Lausanne, Switzerland for the 2018 Winter Olympic Bid. As a media-interactive exhibition, we used a touch kiosk and multimedia system. We had to express the attractiveness of Pyeongchang in a short time. I participated in content planning and I also worked on the UI Design Team. For the Interior design, we cooperated with overseas professionals. I was directly involved with installation as a progress staff member. This project played an important role in the selection of the 2018 Winter Olympics venue. The exhibition was received with enthusiasm from the IOC members.

Virtual Tour: Kiosk / 3X2 LFD & UI Design

Virtual Tour is new media content that shows the venues and advantages of Pyeongchang interactively on a 23” touch-screen kiosk and a 3X2 large multivision panel.
As you view information about each venue by touching the 23” touch-screen kiosk, you can also see the venue in real time in interactive 3D on the 3X2 multivision panel, thereby enabling the experience of a virtual guided tour by a touch of your finger.
Advantage of Virtual Tour : You can enjoy a panoramic view of each venue in real time 3D on the 3×2 multivision large screen panel, and simultaneously access more detailed information by the touch kiosk. Both screens can also be controlled in interface by the touch kiosk, thereby increasing the interest of the user and enabling the user to focus on the content.
Touch Info: 50” PDP & UI Design

Touch Info is new media content enabling interactive access to detailed information about the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics on a 50” touch-screen.
Advantages of Touch Info : Considering the average age of the IOC committee members slated to visit the Pyeongchang Booth in Lausanne, Touch Info features an easy, intuitive UI environment and allows users to selectively access detailed items about the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.
Detailed items accessed through Touch Info consist of video, image, and text formats, and Touch Info offers an opportunity to experience interactive e-book with sensitive touch on the 50” display panel.
